The University of Vermont seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Music in Jazz Studies. This is a nine month, full time, tenure track position beginning Fall, 2007. Teach courses in Jazz Studies (e.g., Jazz History, Jazz Theory and Improvisation, Latin Jazz, Jazz Ensembles, Applied Private Lessons), and cross-disciplinary courses in the college, including courses in ALANA U.S. Ethnic Studies.
