Unilever kende jarenlang twee directies, waarbij de bestuursvoorzitter van het Nederlandse bedrijf, de functie van vicevoorzitter vervulde bij de Britse onderneming en andersom. Sinds het jaar 2005 hebben beide bedrijven één directie. De Fransman Patrick Cescau is benoemd tot topman. Medio 2007 word de Zweed Michael Treschow de nieuwe voorzitter van Unilever.

This year, over 300 community volunteers from the Manila Alliance of Volunteers for the Environment, Unilever employees and various barangays from Clean River Zone 1 went to the Manila Baywalk in Roxas boulevard for the annual coastal clean-up drive. The program was headed by Environment Sec. Michael Defensor.
