Undertaker: Wwe Championship
built 812 days ago
After taking care of Heidenreich, Undertaker focused on the WWE Championship once again. Along with Eddie Guerrero and Booker T, he challenged Bradshaw to a championship rematch at Armageddon 2004. The match turned into a Fatal Four Way, which Undertaker nearly won before Heidenreich interfered once again.
At Unforgiven the Undertaker will make his long awaited return to face Mark Henry. The man who beat him to a bloody pulp, causing him to lose his World Heavyweight Championship to Edge. Don't forget Unforgiven is live this Sunday, September 16th.
RUMOR: |WWE| The PPV poster for Unforgiven in September features the Undertaker which leads many to think Undertaker will make his return there (from an elbow injury). However these posters are made far in advance and things in the wrestling world change on a daily basis.
[I]n 1997, at WrestleMania 13, Undertaker would once again reach the top of the mountain, defeating Sycho Sid for the WWE Championship. Undertaker's reign lasted four-plus months, and included impressive pay-per-view victories over Mankind, Stone Cold and Vader.
Undertaker later lost the gold back to Austin, and after that loss, he shifted his focus. The Deadman formed a team with Big Show, and together they captured the World Tag Team Championship twice in the fall of 1999. Later that fall, Undertaker refused to participate in a Casket Match against Triple H, leading to Mr. McMahon suspending the Deadman indefinitely.
