Pioneer alleges that J.E.M. violated their patent rights when the company resold 1,300 bags of Pioneer's hybrid corn seed. Pioneer claims that as a patent holder of a germplasm that makes their hybrid corn different from others, only the company's authorized representatives have the right to sell the hybrid seeds.
