His first album Tyrese went platinum in 1998 with hit singles "Sweet Lady" and "Lately." His break-out acting role was the lead in John Singleton's Baby Boy in 2001 with follow-up roles in 2 Fast 2 Furious and Four Brothers with Mark Wahlberg in 2005.
