Tyra Banks is a lot of things. Fat isn't one of them. But when a bunch of bash-blogs dropped the three-letter f-bomb about her, the model-turned-talk-show-host lashed out with a media tirade. She capped the campaign in People this week, where she graced the cover in a revealing one-piece under the demand "Does this look fat to you?" Um, no. But it sure looks like a lot of buzz.

With years of modeling industry experience, Tyra Banks ventured into new territory by creating a reality television program. America’s Next Top Model debuted in 2003 -- a model search where contestants competed for a $100,000 modeling contract with Cover Girl, as well photo spreads in fashion magazines. Previously rejected by several modeling agencies that felt Tyra was not camera friendly, Tyra Banks eventually won a contract with Elite Agency at the age of 17. After dropping her studies at Loyola Marymount College, Tyra optimistically flew to Paris to pursue her modeling career.
