As well as damaging the enemy, rangs can be used to do various things around the environment. The Freeze Rang can freeze enemies, put out fires and create useful stepping-stones across water, which will undoubtedly come in handy on your lengthy journey. Likewise, the Flame Rang can start fires, cut through ice and burn spider webs in a flash - again, opening up doors in the environment. Most of the rangs do something to aid your journey, so you're going to need to find and buy them all before you can fully complete the game. This is a fantastic feature, because it always has you coming back to a certain mission, or a certain place in the town to try and get further with your new rang.

One fun aspect of Ty 2 is Burramudgee, the local town. Here, you can talk with the locals, buy new boomerangs and keys to bunyips. Bunyips are large machines that Ty can use to navigate certain levels, and they run the gamut from heavy lifters to submarines. All of them are pretty powerful, and some have special abilities, such as withstanding heat or flying. The bunyip keys will allow access to their respective models, and the machines themselves can usually be found near the beginnings of levels. Fresh bunyips respawn frequently, so the bunyip-centered levels are fairly easy to complete.

Ty the Tasmania Tiger 2 is a solid, if repetitive, platform game that is a follow-up of the original. In the second game, Ty is rescuing Bilbies across the Australian outback, using his boomerangs and vehicles to wreak havoc to whoever gets in his way. The game uses a non-linear approach to the normal side-scrolling platform title, like Super Mario 3. It ... has the ability to purchase new vehicle licenses and boomerangs to assist in the dispatching the ne'er-do-wells that are encountered along Ty's adventures.
ty 2 review The game starts where Ty the Tasmanian Tiger ended. Boss Cass's minions are uprising and planning to break Boss out of prision. It's up to the Burramudgee Bush Rescue team to stop this evil plot from hatching. But alas, their efforts are futile. Cass escapes from prison. The team wants to put him back in. But Cass is pretty crafty and declares he is starting his own country.
Ty Tasmanian Bush Rescue is a game aimed at the younger player. The game puts you in control of Ty a Tasmanian tiger originally seen on the xbox in 2002. This time Ty is fighting Boss Cass again in a pretty simple story regarding mad lizards and their own independent country!!. This is manifested in 44 different missions, which can be played in quite an un-linear order. There are many sub-missions, involving helicopter, and driving side games. The missions are quite simple, involving rescuing someone, or solving ladders puzzles, to reach a target object.
