Twiggy is a great kitty. Though he was a little quiet and shy at first, he has BLOSSOMED and is exceptionally sweet and very brave! He loves to be petted and rub against your legs. He loves belly rubs just like his brother, and acts like a full grown kitten. He enjoys being around other animals, as does his brother, and Twiggy can often b seen curled up with a dog or cat if he's not playing somewhere. Cat toys, especially balls with bells in them, are his favorite thing and he can stay entertained for hours.

After a string of largely forgettable movies and a couple of albums, Twiggy had some success with her Broadway debut in "My One and Only" which earned her a Tony nomination. At the same time her marriage with Whitley was growing apart, and unfortunately Michael died of a heart attack at age 52.

Twiggy's elfin look was hardly the traditional model of femininity. Her flat-chested, waifish appearance was more boyish or androgynous then the customary image of women. But the times and the fashions were non-traditional. It has been pointed out that in the 1960s, for the first time ever, young people had a specific fashion designed for them. Historically, children's fashions were simply scaled-down versions of what their parents' were wearing. The 1960s saw the emergence of the "youth culture" and fashion designers identified it as an important new and profitable market.
