Video combined with sound, animation, audio soundscapes, and presentations delivered via CD, DVD and the web are all part of the world of multimedia.
5. Music Television
   MTV (Music Television) is the oldest and most influential American cable network specializing in music?related programming. It was launched on August 1, 1981, with the words "Ladies and gentlemen, rock and roll," spoken on camera by John Lack, one of the creators of MTV. This introduction was immediately followed by the music?video clip Video Killed the Radio Star, featuring a band called the Buggles. The title proved somewhat prophetic as MTV greatly transformed the nature of music?industry stardom over the next several years. At the same time, MTV became a major presence in the cable?TV industry and in fact in the overall American cultural landscape.
6. Television Shows
   Although Yorkshire Television claims to serve the whole of Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire, it has long been contended by many of the people of Sheffield that Yorkshire Television shows an unacceptable bias towards West Yorkshire in general and Leeds in particular[1]. This alleged bias was seldom better illustrated than when Sheffield Wednesday won an unlikely League Cup Final in 1991 against Manchester United. Extended highlights of the game and post-match celebrations were available and individual ITV stations were left to decide whether to show them; London Weekend Television showed the additional half-hour, but Yorkshire Television opted to stay with their scheduled programme, War of the Monster Trucks - a decision which they have never subsequently been able to live down[1]. Yorkshire Television opened a Calendar News studio in Sheffield prior to the War of the Monster Trucks incident[2], possibly to counter accusations of bias. The studio is clearly a very small setup ... which again has led to a perception among locals that YTV treats Sheffield as an afterthought.
7. Music Television -- Mtv: Music Television
   BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV: Music Television today announced that the reality sitcom "Run's House," brought to MTV by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy TV and Russell Simmons is set to air in October on MTV. The series, television's first hip hop reality sitcom, will capture the real- life drama and hysterical antics of Reverend Run (Joey Simmons) of Run DMC, his wife and five children.
8. Web Tv
   Web TV achieves a very high level of usability given some of the constraints. The keyboard, which is roughly 55 dollars, is required for operation. The wireless and well-designed laptop device makes it possible to sit on the couch and type while you are resting. Typing is only possible when the keyboard focus has been assigned to a type in field, which means the user has to manually use the cursor keys to focus on the type in fields. The remote control is an industrial design, which has four main buttons and can be used while the user keeps their eyes gazed at the TV screen. The remote ... has a set of scroll buttons in addition to cursor movement buttons.
9. Movies and Tv
   Some time ago, they started offering the ability to stream movies and TV shows via your Internet connection. The selection is somewhat limited, but it has been growing. The number of movies you could watch via that method was limited by the type of monthly rental plan you subscribed to.

    TV 2 started to broadcast on September 5, 1992. They have a license to broadcast national commercial television until the end of 2009 for commercial terrestrial television. Their headquarters is located in Bergen. TV 2 has about 550 employees. In 1992, TV 2 A/S was admitted as full active member of the European Broadcasting Union. As is common with television (and cinema) in Norway, most foreign-language shows are subtitled in Norwegian, not dubbed (with a notable exception being children's programs).
