Turtles are very independent creatures and will usually not interact with one another, unless in courtship. If there is more then one turtle in the same tank, they should be monitored to make sure that they are compatible. Although they may not interact with one another, there still sharing the same tank with one another. If one, both or all the turtles start to have respiratory issues; labored breathing, runny nose or discharge from their eyes, nose or mouth, they are not compatible with one another. This rarely happens, but in the case that it does, one or all should be removed from the tank and put in separate tanks.

Turtle in the zoo of Sharm el-Sheikh Turtles are thought to have exceptional night vision due to the unusually large number of rod cells in their retinas. Turtles have color vision with a wealth of cone subtypes with sensitivities ranging from the near Ultraviolet (UV A) to Red. Some land turtles have very poor pursuit movement abilities, which are normally reserved for predators that hunt quick moving prey, but carnivorous turtles are able to move their heads quickly to snap.
This is a wonderful photograph of the Pirate Bear. Turtles, being some of nature's fiercest predators, have few natural enemies. Of this small, elite group of cyborg animals... is the pirate bear and of course cabbage. While most bears are docile creatures from the fish kingdom, pirate bears feed plentifully on the jewel encrusted turtles of the Mediterranean. These specific turtles provide the basic nutrients necessary to power a bear's warp core. Human natural enemies are THE GUJU and this big green hotdog.
Turtles have shells and are the slowest moving reptiles. Most turtles that live in the water have webbed[1] feet like a duck. Tortoises have thick legs like elephants and sea turtles have flippers.
After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their rat sensei, Master Splinter (Mako), becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. Tech-industrialist Max Winters (Patrick Stewart) is raising up an army of ancient monsters, and only one super-ninja fighting team can stop them -- those heroes in a half shell-Leonardo (James Arnold Taylor), Michelangelo (Mikey Kelley), Donatello (Mitchell Whitfield) and Raphael (Nolan North)! With the help of old allies April O'Neil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Casey Jones (Chris Evans), the Turtles are in for the fight of their lives as they once again must face the mysterious Foot Clan, who have put their own ninja skills behind Winters' endeavors.
Turtles are classified in 12 families. The Northern Hemisphere's largest family is that of common freshwater turtles (Emydidae), which includes about a third of all turtle species and is abundant in S and E Asia, E North America, and Central America. Members of this group have webbed feet; many spend most of the time in freshwater ponds or marshes; some live in brackish estuaries. They include such well-known North American turtles as the pond turtles (including the spotted, wood, and Muhlenberg's turtles), the painted turtle, the sliders, the diamondback terrapin, and the Blanding's turtle. The box turtle, which is primarily terrestrial, belongs to this family. Land tortoises (Testudinidae) form the second largest family.
