Gran Turismo is the primary influence on its sequel. While the original broke new ground on the PlayStation, Gran Turismo 2's gameplay, graphics, and interface remain almost identical to the original. In 1984, both Turismo and Charger arrived with numerous changes, including new quad headlights. The Shelby Charger offered 110 bhp, with wide stripes on the hood, ceiling, and back of the car. According to the Standard Catalog of Chrysler, the Shelby package ... included a revised camshaft, chrome valve cover, stiffer suspension, 50-series Eagle GT tires on 15 inch wheels, and low-restriction exhaust for higher performance both in a straight line and around turns. The cost was about $2,000 more than a base Charger, but the Catalog quotes the NHRA as getting a 0-50 speed of 5.5 seconds, with a sub-16 second quarter mile - quite good for the time. (Engine upgrades were largely from Chrysler, rather than Shelby’s works.)

For the second time Turismo de Timor-Leste attended the PATA Travel Mart, in Bangkok, Thailand from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2004. One aspect of Gran Turismo that caught the attention of game players was the number of cars that could be driven in the game -- 140 in all! If you thought 140 was a lot, how about more than 400? Yes, Gran Turismo 2 features over 400 cars. Many of the cars are simply different models of the same type of car but there is still a large variety due to the inclusion of more than 35 car manufacturers. This movie shows off the Grand Canyon track from the upcoming PS2 title Gran Turismo 4. This is by far the most difficult course available on GT4 "Prologue" due to several tight turns. It's ... the only known rally course from GT4.
