Tron 2.0: Computer
built 659 days ago
At its motherboard (like a computer…get it?), Tron 2.0 is an FPS set in the Tron universe. The graphics are obviously inspired by the film, with neon highlights abound. Enemies are colored according to affiliation, and the worlds are supposed to be visual interpretations of programs and operating systems. But, unlike the dated 20-year-old effects of the film, Tron 2.0 is looking fan-freakin'-tastic. Looking at these screenshots, you can see how the developers have taken the idea of Tron, and upgraded it into something a bit more "next-gen." Instead of crudely animated energy flowing through characters, you'll see rays of light emanating from each body.
