At Smackdown, Triple H along with his lawyer presented Vince McMahon with a Temporary Order of Protection. It said that Vince couldn't be within 50 feet of DX. Later Triple H and X-Pac took on Shane McMahon and Test, but it didn't last long before the New Age Outlaws interfered. Vince wanted to run down to the ring, but couldn't, so he sent almost the entire rooster to the ring, where a big food fight broke out.

Triple H lost the WWE Championship to Vince McMahon on the September 16, 1999 edition of SmackDown!, before regaining it at Unforgiven in a Six-Pack Challenge which included Davey Boy Smith, Big Show, Kane, The Rock, and Mankind. He defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin at No Mercy 1999, before dropping the title to The Big Show at Survivor Series 1999.

Triple H was featured in the August 14 2005 episode of MTV's Punk'd. He was led to believe that he had ruined a wedding by hitting the bride in the face with a door and damaging her nose, until Ashton Kutcher and Stephanie McMahon showed up. Hunter was ... featured in an episode of The Bernie Mac Show.

At WrestleMania 15, Triple H took on Kane in a good fight, but the match ... saw the reuniting of Hunter and Chyna. During the match Chyna made it to ringside and wanted to naile HHH with a chair, but instead brained Kane. Triple H then finished the job with a Peidigree on a chair, Chyna and HHH then embraced. Later during the match between Shane McMahon and X-Pac, when it was expected was expected that Hunter would help X-Pac - he brained his fellow degenerate, which can only mean that he has joined Team Corporate.

A while back, when Degeneration X were in their prime, Shawn Michaels and Triple H stood in the ring and showed footage of themselves with Diesel and Razor Ramon. This apparently upset Vince McMahon who was doing commentary at ringside. They talked about how they were good guys and bad guys and so on. What was the significance of that footage and why was it supposed to upset Vince?

TRiple H was the number 1 heel as he fueded with The Rock, Vince MacMahon, Mick Foley, Stone Cold, the Undertaker and Kurt Angle. Around that time Triple H earned the names the Game and Cerebral Assasin. Early 2000 saw a fued with Vince MacMahon, over Stephanie.
