The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) [H]ave agreed to cooperate on issues critical to business travelers. The issue of data privacy of travelers is their priority now in working together. Carol Devine, NBTA president and CEO said, "Our associations see opportunities to work together for the betterment of the industry, and data protection is critical to our global economy." The two ... agreed to make sure their events do not overlap. ACTE counts 2,500 members in 37 countries. The association hosts two global conferences annually, and will conduct 63 educational events as an international pre-and post conference support mechanism in 2004.
