Transportation segment revenues were $98,419,000 in the first nine months of 2007, an increase of $5,339,000 over the same period last year. Excluding fuel surcharges, revenue per mile was the same year to year reflecting a trend of decreasing freight demand and pricing softness from the downturn in housing and attendant lower demand for construction materials. Revenue miles in the first nine months were up 6.7% compared to the same period in 2006 primarily from improved driver manning and higher tractor count.

Finding a wonderful home at what used to be Go Studios, now Track and Field, the group has matured in its endeavor to suggest the new rock landscape. While remaining sympathetic to a traditional genre this power trio seeks a contemporary relevance. To that end they have acheived success, says bassist and frontman Robbie Scruggs, by "underscoring the things we did like about the music we grew up with. Rather than trying to subvert or in someway refuse these elements. Such as singing-in- key or writing some lyrics that might actually mean something."

Transportation punished both major and petty crimes in Great Britain and Ireland from the 17th century until well into the 19th century. At the time it was seen as a more humane alternative to execution, which would most likely have been the sentence handed down to many of those who were transported, if transportation had not been introduced. From the 1620s until the American Revolution the British colonies in North America received transported British criminals, effectively double the period that Australian colonies subsequently received convicts. The American Revolutionary War brought an end to that means of disposal, and with the remaining British colonies in what is now Canada being perilously close to the new United States of America, sending people who might easily become hostile to British authorities there was not an option. Thus, the British Government was forced to look elsewhere.

Sealift, which is listed on the Oslo OTC market, was founded by Frontline to manage and operate six large Suezmax tankers, which are due to be converted into semi- submersible heavy transportation vessels. The first of these six vessels will be operational in May, following the completion of its conversion in China. Delivery of the bulk of the remaining vessels will follow later in 2007, with the final vessel to be delivered fourth quarter 2008.
