The Cape Fear Council invites you to attend this fun-filled skills training course in the outdoors. The course is open to all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venture Leaders and interested parents planning to move into sanctioned BSA troop activities. The course will be held at Camp Bowers. For NFL draftees the well-known and documented benefits of altitude training are being used to prepare them for the individual skill assessment drills that will be administered at the NFL Combine and on Campus Pro Day. The purpose of the drills is to measure the player's raw athletic ability by testing the athlete's maximum exertion level during each drill with minimum recovery time between drills. The players performing these drills will feel the effect of lactate accumulation (muscle burn), oxygen debt, and fatigue.
