The 2007 Toyota Corolla is available in three trims: CE, S, and LE; in both a four-speed automatic transmission and a five-speed manual transmission. Safety features across the board include daytime running lights, trunk-entrapment release, driver front airbags, and front passenger airbags with advanced airbag system. Standard features on the LE models include keyless remote entry, wood-grain interior trim, and intermittent windshield wipers with mist cycle. A Moonroof Package is available on the S and LE models that adds power tilt/slide moonroof with sunshade, driver and front passenger seat mounted side airbags, and front and rear side curtain airbags.

XM is the exclusive factory-installed satellite radio provider for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. The 2009 Corolla and Matrix models are an important part of this agreement marking the first factory-installed availability of XM on a Toyota brand vehicle. XM and XM NavTraffic are already available as factory installed features on the Lexus LS 460 and 600h models, and will be available factory installed on the upcoming 2008 LX 570. Toyota's annual factory production of XM-equipped vehicles is expected to exceed one million by 2010.

Toyota Australia have only ever released one factory turbocharged Corolla onto the local market, this being the 2001 model Sportivo Corolla. These were released in very limited numbers and at a price a little beyond the average enthusiast's budget. The other option for those wanting a factory turbocharged corolla is the Corolla II turbo - released in the mid-80's, a small number of these have made it into the local grey-import market.

The 2004 Toyota Corolla looks every bit as its predecessors did. Black protective body side moldings (CE) or color-keyed protective body side moldings (LE and S models) are there to make sure the look is preserved. A color-keyed rear spoiler is optional on S models.
