"I wasn't sure where to put this information in the Pros/Cons list, but I wanted to make note of it. The Total Gym 26000 base price is $1995, plus S&H. With accessory packages the price can increase to over $3,300 plus S&H. The Vasa PT Clinical model base price is $999, plus S&H. With all possible accessories the price increases to just under $1,300, plus S&H. So from that assessment, a person can have two complete Vasa PT Clinical models with all of the possible accessories for the price of one complete Total Gym 26000 package. On the Vasa you can complete all of the same functional and rehab exercises as the Total Gym, plus swim strokes and more.

Total Gym is a different system to Bowflex because you use your own weight to create the exercise instead of the flexible bows. It's an excellent system to lose weight and sculpt your body, but it is a little more complicated to use than Bowflex. The main benefit is that the system is functioning like free weights, which means more muscles are being used in each excercise. You can increase the workout by increase the incline on the seat. This is system is more for advanced users and people more focused on body building than weight loss. Again there are other products like BodyRail that might offer a cheaper alternative and similar performance.
