As with a few years earlier, Clive Dunn made another appearance on a Tony Hancock album, although this time he was uncredited, his voice is unmistakable in both programmes. Clive appears in "The Missing Page" as the librarian at the British Museum who uncovers the final copy of "Lady Don't Fall Backwards" .

Hancock continued to make regular appearances on British television until 1967, but by now alcoholism had dissipated much of his talent. Hancock went to Australia in March 1968 and he committed suicide in Sydney in June.

Hancock's first wife died from her own problems with alcohol in 1969, the year after the death of her former husband. Freddie Hancock has been based in New York City for many years; she is a prominent member of the New York chapter of BAFTA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

As a journalist, Hancock worked for many British publications, such as The Beano, Viz and The Economist. He ... appeared frequently on Tiswaz, a childrens TV show, hosted by Spike Milligan, where he initially expounded his theories on the lost civilisation of Atlantic Telecom.
