Tony Blair: Support
built 235 days ago
As time goes by, whether he likes it or not, Tony Blair will find out how he is viewed by the real "international community". His 'legacy' will be a lesson for other politicians who rely too much on propaganda to support and protect their agenda, whilst underestimating the power of an increasingly informed public opinion.
Sir Roger joined a group of UNICEF ambassadors supporting the "Make Child Poverty History" by signing an action card to Tony Blair. To eradicate child exploitation, UNICEF is calling for immediate action to tackle the issue of child poverty.

Blair has been the most common name connected with the post. Touted as far back as 2002, rumours re-emerged since his resignation.[37] In June 2007 French president Nicolas Sarkozy was the first leader to propose that Blair be the first president,[38] support which was reiterated in October 2007 following an agreement on the Treaty of Lisbon.
Blair's response to the July 2005 extremist attacks on London's transit system bolstered public support for his leadership at the time. But several of Blair's attempts to bring in tough anti-terrorist laws were later defeated when many of his own MPs voted against them.
