Tom Cruise With all the weirdness surrounding him lately, Tom Cruise has been the media’s favorite punching bag. But say what you want about him, he’s still the biggest male star on the planet. Pairing Cruise with the team who made The Usual Suspects — Bryan Singer and Chris McQuarrie — should be very interesting, and it could possibly help Cruise reclaim his place as one of the most exciting actors around. It’s a very smart move for him.
