There are big questions to be answered. Can the two find a way to participate intellectually with their "normal" peers and will the other children accept them as part of the class? Or will the addition of these two add a crushing burden onto teachers who already have a full slate and take valuable time from other students? The film goes into the classroom to find answers, then follows all the sixth graders as they mount an ambitious production of Shakespeare's "Hamlet", in which both boys have roles.

San Diego County residents have an ongoing, active relationship with the arts and most would be willing to pay additional taxes if they were strictly used to support art and culture activities and facilities. Those are some of the key findings of a two-year study commissioned by a task force of the San Diego Foundation, which works with citizens concerned about community problems and manages 1,050 separate philanthropic funds.

This type of social filtering implementation will be interesting to watch to see if it gets traction -- ... this type of application would be an interesting addition to what IBM is doing with Lotus Connections. This also mimics something Microsoft recently released as well (via CNET).
