TIME magazine offers a fully searchable online archive dating back to its founding in 1923. People.com continues to lead in entertainment news and, as of July 31, 2007, was #1 in page views in the entertainment news category and #2 in unique visitors.

On June 20, 1996, Time's Philip Elmer-Dewitt appeared on Usenet, boasting Time's coverage of the ruling against Communications Decency Act.was larger than the magazine's competitors. But a closer examination of the article shows that Elmer-DeWitt remains blind to his magazine's one-sided misch aracterizations. ("The Internet, of course, is more than just a place to find pictures of people having sex with dogs," he wrote less than a year before, in the notoriously-flawed "Cyberporn" article.)

You have invested a great deal of time, creative energy and perhaps money in your magazine. Because of this, you will be dismayed to have your work judged harshly BUT it still won't be perfect when your time deadline comes around. Keep in mind - you may be the only one that ever notices minor imperfections. You don't hyper-analyze other peoples' magazines - your readers won't hyper-analyze yours! It is only a magazine...not a work of art.
