built 322 days ago
Recent Busch Series Winner Jason Leffler, road course ace Boris Said, Cup Rookie AJ Allmendinger and defending Challenge winner Tim Fedewa will complete the group of competitors that plan on running in the Drivers Challenge Event. They will be running some of the best 358-modifieds Black Rock has to offer.

In 2005, Fedewa failed to finish in the top-ten in twenty-one Busch Series starts, and was subsequently released by FitzBradshaw Racing on July 25, 2005. A week later, he was signed by Glynn Motorsports, a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team, to drive the #65 Dodge. He raced in seven events for the team; his highest finish was 10th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Since then, he has not participated in a NASCAR race.

Fedewa, a native of Holt, Mich., will arrive at Illiana after competing in the NASCAR Busch Series event at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet earlier in the day. Fedewa, who has collected four wins during his NASCAR career, is slated to drive the FitzBradshaw Racing Chevrolet at Joliet. The team is co-owned by former NFL great Terry Bradshaw and Armando Fitz and can be seen on the Speed Channel reality show "NBS 24/7" on Monday nights.

Fedewa was scheduled to make the rounds at the Texas Motor Speedway in the Supercuts/Hot Tamales Dodge Charger, one of the three Busch Series racecars the two-time Super Bowl MVP co-owns with Armando Fitz. A sharp fin in the hand might hamper the promising young racecar driver̢۪s style.
