Throwdown is a hardcore band from Orange County, California. Soilwork is a unique brand of coalesced Swedish metal. Formed in 1997 the band (originally called Inferior Breed) would become more than well-known within the Melodic Death scene, especially in Germany. Crafting dangerous melodies, adding layers of atmospheric texture and unconventional uses of keyboards set the band apart. Some of their releases include 'A Predator's Portrait,' 'Chainheart Machine' and 'Steelbath Suicide.' Through the Eyes of the Dead is a popular touring band from the Charlotte area.
performing at las Cruces NM as part of Warped Tour 07 Throwdown is a straight edge, metalcore, post-thrash band from Orange County, California. They will sometimes appear under the name "Mouth For War: The Ultimate Pantera Tribute". They have toured as part of Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground and Warped Tour, as well as with bands like In Flames, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Sick of It All, Norma Jean, Soulfly, and Hatebreed. The songs "Forever" and "Burn" have been staples on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball and Revolver Magazine called them part of "The Future of Metal" after hearing the album Vendetta, which the band has stated they found humorous as they are more rooted in Hardcore than in Metal. Their most recent album Venom and Tears has taken more of a metal direction, with critics likening the bands current sound to that of Pantera.
Cott and Throwdown will celebrate its new relationship at the National Association of Convenience Stores Expo on November 7 - 9, 2007 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Executives from both Cott Corporation and Throwdown Industries will be joined by UFC world champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at the Cott Corporation booth.

Throwdown In 2000, Throwdown put out their sophomore album, You Don't Have to Be Blood to Be Family. They ... recorded a tongue-in-cheek metalcore version of Sir Mix-a-Lot's hit song "Baby Got Back" for Radical Records' Hardcore Takes the Rap compilation, which also featured Candiria, Stretch Arm Strong, and the Movielife. Drummer Jackson was then replaced by Eighteen Visions skinsman Ken Floyd. The special relationship between Throwdown and the far flashier metalcore act Eighteen Visions is worth noting. Not only have the bands shared stages together on many occasions, but they have often shared members as well. Van Huss, Schieppati, Peters, Barney, and Floyd have all at one point or another been a part of Eighteen Visions, a band that, while straight-edge like Throwdown, has a decidedly separate musical identity, persona, and agenda.

Prior to the "Throwdown", in the Food Network test kitchen, Flay and his two sous-chefs work to concoct their recipe for that particular dish or field of cooking. Since Flay realizes that he may be unable to win a straight "apples to apples" contest, he often opts for a variant of the dish which he feels will impress the judges. In many cases, multiple versions of the dish are tested and later prepared, with Flay deciding which one to submit to the contest only at the last minute.
Venom & Tears Next becoming a part of the reputable Trustkill family, Throwdown resurfaced in mid-2003 with Haymaker. The album saw the band's fan base noticeably expand, and earned them a second-stage spot at 2004's Ozzfest. 2004 ... brought the release of the DVD Together. Foever. United. Guitarist Love amicably exited at the year's end, and the group soldiered on as a four-piece.
