Thierry Henry Thierry Henry is a dedicated soccer professional who came through the ranks of the much envied French National soccer academy. He is a player who never stops working to improve his game. He is fast, highly skilled technically and lethal in front of goal. He is the complete soccer player - a brilliant individualist and an unselfish team player. Arsenal and the English Premier League are fortunate to have such a star in their ranks. Peter Hill-Wood - Arsenal's Chairman - considers Henry.
Thierry Henry is one of the best strikers in the world today. Has won every competition except the Champions League, and while there’s a chance that he could still win it with Arsenal, Henry, turning 30 in August 2007, is running out of time. Has been linked with a move away from Arsenal for the last couple of summers, but most of it is just speculation and nothing else - blind throwing of mud on the wall hoping that when it sticks, people can claim that they knew it all along. A player who has won the World Cup (1998) and Euro 2000, and it’s a shame that a player of his ability has never won the Fifa World Player of the Year award. That and the Champions League.
