Theocracy

Theocracy is an inescapable concept. The rejection of one theocratic government leads to the choice of another theocratic government. Even democracy is theocratic. Have you not heard the phrase vox populi, vox dei? “The voice of the people is the voice of god.” Francis Schaeffer described democracy as “the tyranny of the 51%.” In a pure democracy, whatever the majority says is right becomes the law for that moment in time.

Theocracy has many non-linear stages but all theocracies end up in one of two categories, Communism or Hypocrisy. Communists are atheist and therefore are never considered theocratic. On the other hand, Hypocratics are often confused as being theocratic but are generally considered atheist. They commonly are shoved into a sub group of theocracy, hence the term hypo- meaning below.
Theocracy, according to Webster's 1847 edition, is "Government of a state by the immediate direction of God; or the state ... governed. Of this species the Israelites furnish an illustrious example. The theocracy lasted till the time of Saul."

Theocracy: a word first used by Josephus to denote that the Jews were under the direct government of God himself. The nation was in all things subject to the will of their invisible King. All the people were the servants of Jehovah, who ruled over their public and private affairs, communicating to them his will through the medium of the prophets. They were the subjects of a heavenly, not of an earthly, king. They were Jehovah's own subjects, ruled directly by him (comp. 1 Samuel 8:6-9).

Theocracy hails from USA and consists of Matt Smitt on vocals and on all instruments. And he does a fantastic job! In fact many bands with full setting doesn't even come close to what he has managed to do on this album. Very tasty power/progressive metal with tons of hooks and guitar solos. The music is ... very powerful and well thought out. Fantastic that there can be so much talent in one person!
