The X-Men animated series was the best cartoon show to ever be aired, it never jumped the shark. I thought all the characters were potrayed well and Wolverine was the best of them all, it's ok everything has an end, X-Men was towards the end to have it's moments when it got too childesh and far fetched, but it was the best damned cartoon series ever conceived. About 93 percent of the time it was accurate with the comic books! I hope someone in Marvel get's it into his head to have all 5 season released on dvd, because let's face it you grew up with it and I grew up with it. I was 9 years old when i used to watch this show, and it captivated me from the start and it still does to this day!

Wolverine (perhaps the comics world's favorite character) is wearing his X-Men outfit, which has orange trim painted on. His hands end in silver adamantium blades. His head has a removable hairpiece attached that forms the familiar sideburns that define his character.

In 1989, Marvel Productions produced a pilot X-Men episode called Pryde of the X-Men. The series was never picked up but the single episode aired infrequently in syndication during the Marvel Action Universe series and was later released on video. In 1991, a 4-6 player arcade game was based upon this failed series starring Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Dazzler. Professor X and Kitty Pryde ... appear.

Dazzler was the same as her Earth-616 counterpart up until Professor Xavier was killed by Cable. When the X-Men split into two teams, Dazzler joined with Wolverine's team and joined him during the battle which saw Cable's death. After the battle, Dazzler joined with Magneto to save her own life given all of the anti-mutant mobs being created. Dazzler aided Magneto in taking over the U. S. government but was killed when Magneto accidentally detonated a Sentinel containing a nuclear warhead.

Superhero Hype have received word that casting has begun for various roles in the upcoming X-Men spin-off movie, Wolverine. Whilst no details are currently available regarding the movie in terms of plot, the article does confirm that they seem to be going forward with the script by David Benioff.

Rictor was the same as his Earth-616 counterpart up until Professor X returned from space and revoked Cable's leadership of the New Mutants. Rictor and the other New Mutants protested and Xavier ordered the X-Men to take Cable by force. Rictor joined in defending his mentor and escaped into the Morlock tunnels with the others. Following the death of Cable at Wolverine's hands, Rictor joined with Magneto and was eventually killed when Magneto destroyed a Sentinel containing a nuclear warhead.
