The X-Men made a few appearances in Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro. Professor X (Daran Norris) and Rogue (Jennifer Hale) run a Danger Room simulation for the player to train in. Beast (Dee Bradley Baker) appears in the first level to demonstrate the controller functions to the player.

Archangel was essentially the same as his Earth-616 counterpart until Professor X was killed by Cable. Archangel joined Wolverine in gaining vengeance on Cable and remained with Wolverine's group until he was killed by Sentinels.

Professor X is feeling rather depressed after the events of Onslaught. Yes, it's a "my god, am I truly capable of such a thing" story. This is set-up for his decision to hand himself over to government custody in X-Men Vol 2 #57.
