The Mexican government is offering its citizens border-crossing tips in a 36-page comic-style book entitled Guide for the Mexican Migrant. Like other traditional Mexican comics, it is small enough to fit in a person's back pocket. The government, which has inserted about 1.5 million of the booklets into the popular adult cowboy comic Vaquero, says the guide is "an attempt to save lives." Responding to the needs of warfighters, iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT - News ) today announced the iRobot PackBot® 510 with EOD Kit, a second-generation explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robot. PackBot 510 uses a new game-style hand controller for faster training and easier operation in the field. In addition, the robot is 30 percent faster, drags larger objects, lifts twice the weight and has a grip that is three times stronger than its predecessor. This new robot will begin shipping in April 2007.

IDG World Expo today announced the official name of its newest event: "Entertainment for All((TM)) Expo" (E for All((TM)) Expo), scheduled for October 18-20, 2007, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The name replaces "GamePro Expo" - a placeholder while the company held a naming contest. More than 3000 entries were submitted on popular video game site GamePro.com. The winning entry was proposed by California resident Dante Padre.
