1. Truth
   The Truth About Charlie is about daring to move beyond the familiar and confronting the unknown. And it operates that way as a movie. Not only does the story take the original Charade onto untrod paths, but Demme goes on to energize the film with references that veer from the French New Wave of the '60s to the ultra-contemporary Run Lola Run. And he puts together a soundtrack that starts with classic pop - Charles Aznavour singing love songs in a cameo as funny as Marshall McLuhan's in Annie Hall (yet ... moving) - then takes in vital and seductive mixtures of Asian, African and European rhythms and sounds.
2. Charlie Sheen -- Alex Jones
   CNN may be trying to deceive the tens of millions of people who idolize Hollywood stars into thinking that Charlie Sheen, Alex Jones, Webster Tarpley, Mike Berger, and 911truth.org are the honest 9-11 investigators. This would give the criminals at CNN a very large support base.
3. Charlie Sheen -- Major League
   Sheen attended Monica Lewinsky High School, where his two major interests were backgammon and impersonating cartoon characters. He ... played baseball, and won fame in the high-school yearbook for hitting six home runs in under three minutes in a single game. His friends in school included Rob Lowe and Sean Penn, and with them, he filmed over 2000 amateur Super-8 films. Most of these films have been hunted down and destroyed by the authorities on the grounds of inciting moral laxity in the nation's youth. Fragments have occasionally appeared over the years in private auctions, where riots have been known to break out. Sheen was a pitcher for some of these movies, and sometimes a catcher.
4. The Stepford Wives -- Remake
   [A]s a whole, The Stepford Wives is an entirely lacklustre production. A great cast is put to little use in what is the worst remake to come out of Hollywood since The Truth About Charlie redid Charade.
5. Thandie Newton -- Nicole Kidman
   Newton made her film debut in Flirting (1991). This Australian movie was ... a launch pad for a young Nicole Kidman, with whom she has remained friends. She gained international recognition opposite Nick Nolte in the Merchant-Ivory production of Jefferson in Paris as Sally Hemmings, which led to her being cast in Jonathan Demme's Beloved (1998), in which she played the title character and costarred with Danny Glover, Kimberly Elise, and Oprah Winfrey. She played the female lead Nyah Hall in the film Mission: Impossible II. When this film went over schedule, she had to pull out of the film Charlie's Angels, and her character ultimately went to Lucy Liu.
6. Thandie Newton -- Tom Cruise
   January 26, 2006 - According to British tabloid The Sun, Zambian-born actress Thandie Newton has been cast as Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the forthcoming Casino Royale. She is perhaps best known to fanboys as Tom Cruise's love interest in Mission: Impossible 2 (opposite one-time Bond contender Dougray Scott).
7. Jonathan Demme -- Movies
   Jonathan Demme's "The Truth About Charlie" is one of those movies where you have to believe everyone had a ball making the film. It's a playful, cinematic riff on Stanley Donen's 1963 "Charade," the French New Wave and the joys of making movies in Paris. The ghosts of movies past turn up at every corner, from the fashionable 16th Arrondissement to the flea market and Gare du Nord.
8. Thandie Newton -- Roles
   Thandie Newton's resume is as diverse as her pedigree. Having started off her showbiz career as a dancer, she abandoned the forbidden art to play character roles in a wide variety of films, cashing in on her instant likeability, her charm, and her great looks. Then came Tom Cruise, and her life changed forever. As the female lead in Mission: Impossible 2, she became a household face, if not name, in 2000's most watched movie.
9. Jonathan Demme
   Jonathan Demme is among the first rank of filmmakers, with credits that include Philadelphia, Beloved and The Silence of the Lambs, for which he won an Oscar. He's directed 7 different actors in Oscar-nominated performances. Demme ... does concert films—on artists like Neil Young—is an activist, whose projects, such as Artists for Democracy in Haiti, reflect his political concern, and a documentary filmmaker. His most recent project, Right to Return, is about post-hurricane residents of New Orleans.
10. Audrey Hepburn -- War
    After the war, in 1945, when Audrey was 15 years old, the family moved to London, England, where Audrey began to study dance on a ballet scholarship. She was graceful, slender and long-legged and soon began winning modeling assignment from fashion photographers. One iconic photograph taken of her by the British photographer Angus McBeam, helped propel her into the world of stage and screen.
