The Sims: Expansions
built 140 days ago
Windows Front Cover In the seventh and final expansion pack for The Sims, Makin' Magic lets you give your Sims the ability to cast various spells, helpful and otherwise. Make a garden gnome come to life as a housekeeper, or give an enemy the hot foot. Have a child summon an imaginary friend to keep him/her company, and keep their social scores up.

The fun factor in The Sims: House Party did not change much since the original and the last expansion pack. Watching the little Sims perform all sorts of things and having fun is still appealing. Playability did not change, and all the novelties only increased replay value and playing time for this gaming veteran.

While the expansion pack in North America is a done deal, such things aren't as simple in China. Currently Blizzard Entertainment is paired up with Chinese online game company The9 to provide World of Warcraft within the borders of mainland China ... it is uncertain whether this includes the expansion pack. Blizzard announced earlier this month that they have invited The9 to negotiate the expansion's release in China. that is, if it is released at all. Analysts seem to believe that The9's current contract with Blizzard allows them to operate any WoW expansion regardless. According to the press release, plans for China "will be revealed at a later date."
You can watch your Sims do just about everything that real people can, from being lazy slobs to taking up a life of crime to make ends meet. Your game can go on indefinitely and there really isn’t a goal to aspire to, although deft players can supposedly become mayor of Sim City. Expansion paks such as Livin’ Large, House Party, Hot Date and Vacation as well as user-created add-ons available for download from various Sims fan sites give gamers a wealth of ways to play and greatly increase the long-term play value.
