The Rock Building Society has officially opened a new agency in Cairns. The move is part of a wider strategy by the Rockhampton-based building society to expand its network throughout regional Queensland by partnering with successful business people in regional centres.

One of the most successful and influential bands of the rock era, Fleetwood Mac has signed to Reprise Records, where the band's most successful line-up originally convened. The group is currently rehearsing for an exclusive MTV performance this May, with air dates to be announced soon. The performance will include many of their best-known hits, along with three new selections. This historic event, recorded live in Los Angeles, will subsequently be released as an album on Reprise.
