Penguins eat fish. They eat a lot of different kinds of fish. They usually eat two to four pounds of fish each day. Sometimes they can't eat that much because in the wild penguins eat the fish as they catch them. If they can't catch enough fish than they can't eat that much. That is what their eating habits are like.

T[H]e Fairy penguin is ... known as the Little Blue penguin. It is the smallest of all the penguins. The Fairy penguin is slate blue in color, with a white under side. The Fairy penguin is a very vocal bird, with a wide range of unusual sounds:barking, bleating, braying, cackling, growling, hissing, mooing, quacking, screaming, sneezing, trumpeting, and even meowing like a cat. (Occasionally they nest under houses, and this nocturnal serenade makes them very unwelcome guests.) There are 4 sub species (one is the White Flippered penguin).

Penguins mate only once a year, and it lasts less than 10 seconds. They mate in autumn, shortly before the coldest time of the year. Since there are more females than males, the lonely females try to interfere with couples in the process of mating. Male and females look exactly alike, with a slight average weight difference, and higher voice pitch for the females.

On paper, the Penguins’ ownership at this point would be getting a better deal relocating to Kansas City. But Kansas City?! The city was briefly home to an NHL expansion franchise in the mid-1970s but the city and hockey go together about as well as sandpaper and silk.

On August 28th, the Penguins joined Alan Freed for his Second Annual Labor Day Show at the Brooklyn Paramount. With them were Fats Domino, the Teenagers, the Cleftones, the Harptones, Cirino & Bow Ties, the Shepherd Sisters, the Moonglows, and Mabel King.
