1. Houston Rockets -- Nba Finals
   The Houston Rockets traded Malone in 1983, and poor finishes in the next two seasons gave the franchise top picks in the NBA draft. Houston selected 7-ft 4-in (2.2-m) Ralph Sampson in 1983 and 7-ft (2.1-m) Hakeem Olajuwon in 1984. In the 1985-86 season the two centers?nicknamed the Twin Towers?led the Rockets to the Midwest Division title and upset the defending NBA-champion Los Angeles Lakers in the conference finals. Houston was again defeated in the NBA Finals by the Houston Rockets.
2. Milwaukee Bucks -- Nba Finals
   The Milwaukee Bucks won an NBA title just three years into their existence in 1971. Winning seasons became a tradition for the franchise after that, and the Bucks found themselves selling NBA tickets to playoff games in every season of the 1980s. The Bucks hit hard times in the mid '90s, but found the postseason again at the beginning of this decade.

   The Miami Heat came into the NBA for the 1988-89 season as part of a two-phase league expansion that ... included the Orlando Magic, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Charlotte Hornets. After spending its first few years in the cellar, the franchise began to make progress thanks to a series of shrewd draft selections. Although the Heat failed to achieve a winning season during their first five campaigns, the team stayed close to the break-even point and made it into the playoffs faster than any of its expansion peers.
6. Toronto Raptors -- Nba Draft
   The Toronto Raptors are trying to recover from another devastating season, after going 27-55 for the year. The Raptors future looks great, after drafting big man, Andrea Bargnani with the first pick of the 2006 NBA Draft. Andrea Bargnani looks very promising, and is a player who resembles Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks. The Raptors ... have a new GM this year with a great track record, Bryan Colangelo, who put together the explosive Phoenix Suns. The Raptors have also acquired pass-first TJ Ford, who should definitely complement Chris Bosh.
7. Michael Jordan -- Nba Finals
   Michael Jordan (Born February 17, 1963) is a retired American basketball player. Many people believe Jordan is one of the greatest basketball players to ever play in the NBA. He won six championships playing for the Chicago Bulls and head coach Phil Jackson. The Chicago Bulls team set a record by winning 72 games. Jordan was part of this team and played together with men like Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, and Tony Kucoc. Jordan ... won two Olympic gold medals for basketball.
8. Indiana Pacers -- Nba Finals
   The Indiana Pacers are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference of the NBA, and a championship title isn't too far off. not to mention probably the most polite fans (Indiana fans know better than to throw beer on players or call arenas making bomb threats...)
9. Dallas Mavericks -- Nba Draft
   Up until the very end of the season, the Mavericks would be toe-to-toe with the San Antonio Spurs for the crown of the Southwest Division as well as the #1 spot in the Western Conference. However, they fell short of the title and had to settle for a fourth seed. Nonetheless, they once again achieved a 60–22 record, with Avery Johnson winning NBA Coach of the Year honors. In the playoffs, they swept the Memphis Grizzlies, leading to a titanic series against their state rivals and the reigning NBA champions the San Antonio Spurs. Five out of the seven games were decided in the last minute, including a Game 7 that had to go into overtime. Yet under the guidance of Dirk Nowitzki and an incredibly deep bench, the Mavericks were able to advance to the Conference Finals against former teammate Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns.

    NBA superstar Lebron James is currently waiting for his new house to be finnished. It will be a 35,440-square-foot mansion which will include a bowling alley theater, barber shop and even a small casino! The house is located in Bath Township.
