The Moment of Silence is an adventure title set in the not-too-distant future (2044). The world is much like ours: people still wear clothes that wouldn't look out of place in modern-day New York City, parks are still oases of greenery amongst the concrete canyons, people still meet strangers and flirt with them in internet chat rooms, and homeless guys smelling of improperly disposed-of body fluids still rant and scream at passers-by about UFOs and the general merits of tin-foil hats.

If it is right to take away the moment of silence because of a couple people's beliefs then it's right to continue on with it because of numerous other people's beliefs! How can a person get offended by taking 20 seconds of their day not speaking? There are many others who will get offended by taking their 20 seconds away! So where's the balance at? You have one side suing for having the moment, then you'll just have the other side doing the same for their rights being taken away! Who cares?

The Moment of Silence is set in 2044 and it is a darker and more thought-provoking story with a theme exploring issues that, perhaps, have a familiar ring today. Increasing terrorist activity has created a feeling of fear and anxiety amongst the public, a fear that is being nurtured and exploited by those in power, "a global government ruled by massive corporations". These ruling elites are seeking to clamp down on basic freedoms under the guise of combating terrorism.
