The Millennium Bostonian offers a Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) package, supporting this major cultural institution which features nearly 450,000 works of art. The MFA package includes accommodations with a balcony overlooking Faneuil Hall Marketplace, two admission passes to the MFA, American breakfast for two and turndown service. Rates begin at $199, valid through March 31, 2007.

Millennium raised the level of abstraction provided by the system to the application developer. For example, progammers using the Continuum prototype, were unaware that they were developing distributed applications. The system provided a single abstract machine from multiple physical machines. This is a radical departure from most distributed systems which provide the application with distributed services, but force the programmer to be aware of distribution.

The Corps and NYSDEC approvals culminate years of detailed environmental evaluations conducted by Millennium and a variety of government agencies. This effort was led by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and involved the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, among others.
