The Matrix 101: Your Guide to Understanding The Matrix The Matrix was a box office smash, set records for DVD sales (first DVD to sell 1 million copies), and won four Oscars - Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing, Best Sound, and Best Sound Effects Editing. The wirework, unusual in North American films (though popular in Japan), lent a distinct sense of unreality to many scenes. Special Effects innovations, such as "Bullet Time", were copied repeatedly for movies, TV shows, and commercials. The impact of The Matrix on filmmaking was growing, and continues to grow with the release of the 2 sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
The Matrix was a co-production of Warner Bros. Studios and Australian Village Roadshow Pictures, and all but a few scenes were filmed at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia, and the city itself. Recognisable landmarks were not included in order to maintain the setting of a generic American city. Nevertheless, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, AWA Tower,Martin Place and a Commonwealth Bank branch are visible in some shots. Subtle nods were included to Chicago, Illinois, the home city of the directors, through place names, city maps, and a subtly placed picture of the Sears Tower.

Neo manages to retrieve The Keygen and meet The Architect. While meeting The Architect, Neo finds out that someone has put $20,000,000 into his real world bank account. So that he can purchase the simulated reality software for Wikipedia.
Following their tremendous success with Lavigne, The Matrix has probably become the hottest writer/producers in the business. It seems like practically every A&R exec wants to hire them to work with their major artists, or to help develop their new artists. Their non-stop writing & producing schedule has resulted in dozens of upcoming cuts, many which will be released as singles. Their discography lists an impressive array of cuts: seven songs with Ricky Martin, four songs with Liz Phair, two songs with Evan & Jaron, five songs with Nick Lachey, two songs with Lillix, and six songs with Keaton Simon (a new artist they have been developing, who has signed with Maverick Records). In addition, they have begun working with other, top artists.
The DVD cover for The Matrix Rebloated. In The Matrix Revolutions, an evil army of facts prepares to attacks Zion, While Neo and Trinity decide to drive to Tampon in their expensive flying Caddillac car. It takes a few hours to get to Tampon palace. So Neo and Trinity Huff a few Kittens and watch an advertisement for Spoon Huffers international on the way. Back in Zion, the Uncyclopedians battle the facts and try to defend Zion's most sacred monument, The highly detailed and built to actual size Potato replica. In Tampon, Neo and Trinity are still Huffing Kittens and getting drunk. Then Moe from the Three Stooges jumps out and pokes Neo in the eyes, making him blind.
"The Matrix concept was based on blending the functionality of an SUV, the style, image and performance of a sports car with the affordability of a subcompact sedan," said Tim Morrison, Toyota Division corporate marketing manager. "For 2009, it's all that, and more. It may have the body of a five-door hatch, but it comes with the soul of a two-door sports car."
