In the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, Link has been transported to the beautiful world of Holodrum. The evil Onox, General of Darkness fulfils his plan to send the seasons into chaos so that all living things will wither and die, giving birth to the land of Darkness. Link must explore this strange new world and acquire the Rod of Seasons, which will grant him control over the four seasons. On his journey, Link must find the “8 Essences of Nature” protected by powerful monsters deep within dungeons around the world to restore the balance of nature.

When Nintendo released its first "Legend of Zelda" game back in the mid-'80s, the crowds went crazy. Zelda was an imaginative adventure set in a fantasy world with scary monsters and an underdog elf-hero named Link.

It's ... still unsure when The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will in fact launch. Nintendo has given a post-March timeframe, but has failed to specify a more precise date. More as it breaks.
