The Guy Game

The Guy Game is a multiplayer trivia game based on questions that were asked of Spring Breakers at South Padre Island. The basic goal of the game is to get questions right and uncover bits of clothing from the female contestants (kind of like strip poker but with trivia instead). Therefore, this game is definitely intended for a mature audience because of the ample nudity and adult themes. As far as gameplay goes, it's divided into a number of rounds. The first round deals with trivia while the second round deals with a few simple games involving balls. The lack of diversity in gameplay definitely hurts this game, but most trivia games aren't really known for their diverse gameplay anyway.
7.3 out of 10 The Guy Game is a trivia based game that was actually filmed live at South Padre Island and it features over 60 attractive coeds visiting the beautiful tropical island during their Spring Break. There are sure to be a few proud fathers out there after this one hits the shelves. Anyways, players will be able to take part in 20 skin ridden episodes of The Guy Game as they complete the first episode and continue to unlock the next episode in sequence. Each episode will consist of a variety of trivia scenarios and mini-games to help boost a player’s score. A player’s score will ... determine their ability to unlock the censorship level of each episode. The ingenious “Flash-O-Meter” will track a player’s bonus points scored after each round of an episode and progress according to the amount of bonus points earned.
Visually, as a general videogame, The Guy Game doesn’t have much going for it. As a trivia game, though, The Guy Game has a top-notch interface that keeps thing uncluttered. The much hyped girls strut their stuff in relatively good quality video using the spave-saving DivX codec. The Xbox version looks quite sharp due to its progressive scan support.

Graphically, it's hard to expect much from a simple trivia game, but The Guy Game has a clean, slick interface that works well. The video, compressed using the DivX codec, isn't quite full screen, but the footage is clean--or as clean as you can expect from a trivia game shot on a beach during spring break.
The Guy Game is aimed squarely at testosterone-laden college students, spring breakers, and, well, any red-blooded American guy. Forming a sinful trinity, it combines boozing, nudity, and revelry. There's no question that it's a party game. It sets itself apart from other party games in that you don't have to pretend that it's a drinking game or fathom special party rules to make it work. Admit it: you've tried to turn everything from Super Monkey Ball to Eye Toy into alcohol-driven party games. The Guy Game doesn't pretend to be anything else; its style is a blend of Girls Gone Wild, the long-standing drinking game A**hole, and, well...You Don't Know Jack.

TOPHEAVY Studios and Gathering announced today that The Guy Game shipped to retail yesterday for both the Xbox and PlayStation 2. Shot on-location on South Padre Island during Spring Break, The Guy Game features more than 60 college babes (of the female sort), babe pictures, babe parts, and, uh, some trivia thrown in there somewhere. And ...: babes. Ostensibly, it's a party game, but what you do with it all alone is your own affair. Look for it now at your favorite retailer.
