Yes, the cloning of the American mind has been very successful and you can place a great deal of the blame on America’s churches and their lack of standing up for God’s word over the past 50+ years. These 501(c)(3) social houses have failed miserably in standing up to the sexual deviancy crowd. However, you can reject the message, not with hate, but with facts. You can walk away from your church if they promote that which you know is wrong. Silence isn’t always golden.

The Migrant Experience - Although the Dust Bowl included many Great Plains states, the migrants were generically known as 'Okies,' referring to the approximately 20 percent who were from Oklahoma. The migrants represented in Voices from the Dust Bowl came primarily from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. Most were of Anglo-American descent with family and cultural roots in the poor rural South.

Charles "Bud" Boehm established the scholarship endowment in memory of his parents, Charles and Dora Boehm, who were great advocates of higher education. Boehm was raised in Ashland and graduated with a History major from Northland College in 1936. He had a distinguished 33-year career with the U.S. Department of Commerce.
