Single play is much like the group game, with two additions. For reqular category questions (those questions that you get when you land on a colored square), you have 20 seconds to answer the question. If you do not answer within the time provided, the question will be marked wrong. In addition, you are only allowed 4 wrong answers for regular category questions. If you get a fifth answer wrong, then you lose the game.

The game, which is ... available online, will evolve with players being able to submit their own questions for future editions. Everyone who visits the inventors at stand 4-111 can submit a question which will be incorporated in a special edition meaning they themselves will be part of history!

Like its on-air counterpart, the online version of THAT'S THE QUESTION is a fast-paced, timed game that combines word-scrambles with a test of general knowledge and pop-culture trivia. Contestants compete in a hangman-like question and answer race to solve a hidden puzzle as fast as possible, earning points for every correct answer and bonuses for any time left on the clock.
