The amazing collaboration of rock legend Robert Plant and bluegrass music's diva Alison Krauss seem to be everywhere and they aren't slowing down soon. "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" up for Grammy Award this Sunday, CMT Crossroads Raising Sand special airs on Monday, a new video has just been shot for the duo's second single "Please Read the Letter", and now, there are Live Appearances at Jazzfest and Bonnaroo Confirmed, More Dates To Be Announced Soon.

The ease at which a Bluegrass MP3 can be accessed, listened to and downloaded has brought the music to a whole new global audience. Bluegrass music has it's own distinctive sound. For more than three decades, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Telluride Jazz Celebration have been packing Town Park with big names and bigger music. This year might be a record breaker, with both festivals pulling out all the stops for a summer of sweet, sweet music.
In addition to honoring the bluegrass greats and sharing tunes from Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, the Osborne Brothers, Jim & Jesse, etc., the boys have ... ventured out and written some of their own original material. Their repertoire includes gospel music and even some rock adaptations, as well. The 5 piece band consists of two sets of brothers: Shane Birtzer on the five string banjo, Clint Birtzer on the flattop guitar, Luke Birtzer on fiddle, Jesse Moravec on mandolin and Ethan Moravec on the upright bass.
