This Thanksgiving, viewers can bring their food-stained recipe cards into the digital age with Comcast's Digital Cookbook, featuring quick and easy recipes from a large variety of categories that customers can follow along on TV or online. Seasonal recipes include braised shallots with balsamic vinegar, chopped turkey salad with balsamic vinaigrette, holiday ginger yam pudding, and pumpkin black bean turkey chili. These treats, and hundreds of others, can be found online at digitalcookbook.tv by using the site's Recipe Finder tool, which lets visitors search by ingredients or category.

The Right Stuffing: Aside from turkey, the Thanksgiving dish that makes traveling worth the trip is stuffing, according to 32 percent of survey respondents. Eleven percent voted for mashed potatoes and 10 percent picked sweet potatoes. When asked which Thanksgiving pies make traveling worth the trip, 35 percent of travelers selected pumpkin pie, followed by pecan pie (13 percent) and apple pie (10 percent).

According to Morongo tribal council member Anne Hutton, as a part of the tribe's Thanksgiving outreach, it will both deliver turkeys and set up a special turkey pick-up center for designated charities on the Morongo Indian reservation. Deliveries to charities throughout Palm Springs, Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles took place throughout the past week.
