Thales Navigation, a leading global provider of GPS solutions, and Geo++ GmbH announced that Thales Navigation is marketing GNSMART reference station software from Geo++. The GNSMART, or GNSS State Monitoring and Representation Technique, software suite is designed for controlling networks of GPS reference stations, including the iCGRS from Thales Navigation which is the first direct Internet-connected reference station in the industry. GNSMART provides state of the art Network RTK (Real Time Kinematic) corrections using the Geo++ technique of broadcasting Area Correction Parameters (FKP).

Thales Navigation became part of the Group when certain Dassault Electronique businesses were transferred during the privatisation programme. The company acquired MLR in May 2000 and integration is now complete. Over the last five years, the Thales Navigation sales and workforce have tripled.
