graphic by Vandana Singh "If the Tetrahedron is a projection in our space of a more complicated, multi-dimensional object, it might ... explain the disappearance of the people who were on the road at the time the Tetrahedron appeared. Who knows?"

Articles 20070113 F8063 4469 Tetrahedron art For three decades, New Orleans artist Arthur Silverman, 82, has made sculptures based on the tetrahedron, a polyhedron with four faces. (Think of a pyramid with a triangular base.) A surgeon-turned-artist, Silverman welds together metal plates into the sculptures. His pieces range from huge public sculptures to small works displayed in galleries. From Science News: "The tetrahedron is very exciting visually," Silverman says. "It's very difficult to anticipate what you are going to see. Every step around a piece gives you a different view." We're accustomed to thinking about orientation in space in terms of three perpendicular axes.

Using 16copies of Tetrahedron1, or four copies of Tetrahedron2, students can create a larger version of the tetrahedron model. Shown below is the model created by students from the 2005 Summer Honors Program in Holdrege, NE.
Analysis of the Tetrahedron Model's rational components suggests an abundance of metaphysical analogies. For example, in the conservation of Unity, we find an analog of the metaphysical principle of universal "Love"; in the connectivity of the Cosmos we find the analog of "spirit"; in the 4 conservation laws and the 4 forces of physics we find analogs of Divine Law and Omnipotence; in Causality we find the classic principle of "Karma"; while in Information itself we find the principle of universal self-knowledge ("Omniscience"), essentially Chardin's "Omega Point". This latter idea is ... advanced by Prof. J. C. Gowan (Sr.) in his book "Trance Art, Creativity": - the "All" evolving toward a state of universal self-knowledge, in which the All shall know and be known by the All.
Tetrahedron sets up a tetrahedron-like Simulation, where there is one type of Subunit with a single Conformation and Domain and three binding sites. The initial number of Subunits, and the binding and breaking times control the assembly of tetrahedron

Commodore Cole (right) examines the two tetrahedron keys known to exist. From the episode, "Heroes." Tetrahedron keys are small, handheld artifacts discovered by Siroc and his henchmen, thought by researchers to enable direct control of the tetrahedrons. Two of the keys are known to exist, but the number is apparently insufficient to control the large and powerful artifacts.
