The Tennessee Titans conclude their bye week today before reporting back to work on Wednesday in preparation for the Houston Texans. But before the 1-5 Titans return to the practice field, there is a little unfinished business to take care of — midseason report cards.

In 2000, the Titans finished with an NFL-best 13–3 record and won their third AFC Central title—their first division title as the Tennessee Titans. They won Central division titles in '91 and '93 while still in Houston as the Oilers.

Head coach Jeff Fisher returns for his twelfth year leading the Tennessee Titans; he holds the franchise mark for games won, with just over one hundred victories (102). Fisher has performed solidly as head coach while in Tennessee, leading the Titans to four playoffs and two division titles, as well as an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. Fisher is primarily known as a defensive specialist, having served as defensive coordinator and a defensive backs coach in previous posts with the Oilers, the San Francisco 49ers, the St. Louis Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles .
