Temple Mount: Temple Mount Faithful
built 615 days ago
The main goal of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is to bring the G-d of Israel and the Universe to the center of all aspects of the life of this nation and all mankind. This can and must only be done in the place which G-d chose to be His House on the Temple Mount on the location of the First and Second Temples. A new era will be opened in the life of all the world and Mashiach ben David will come and be the King of Israel and all mankind.

The Temple Mount Faithful tried to install the foundation stone on the Temple Mount, but was stopped by Israeli police. The matter was pursued legally all the way to Israel’s Supreme Court, where it was decided that, in order to preserve religious peace, the stone could not be placed on the Temple Mount. But the stone had already been consecrated and could not be discarded. So it was placed in a prominent site, in a circular parkway facing the American Consulate and not far from the Damascus Gate. It is unmarked... and one would never know what it represents unless one were told. Such is the fate of the Temple Mount stone, somewhat in limbo, awaiting the right time and circumstances for installation on the authorized site of the Temple.

Through Temple Mount Faithful founder Stanley Goldfoot, a member of the Stern Gang terrorist underground, Dr. Lambert Dolphin, a physicist at the Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, California, was brought to Jerusalem in the early 1980s. Dolphin had already been in correspondence with Kaufman, but it was Goldfoot who put the Quatuor Coronati field operative, Kaufman, together with the Darbyite fundamentalist, Dolphin. During World War II, Goldfoot had worked for Lord Martin Charteris, then-British intelligence station chief for the Middle East, and later, private secretary to Queen Elizabeth II.

The illegal excavations and construction works by the Moslem Waqf under the Temple Mount continue. The size of the work site is now 25 by 50 meters, and five ancient arches have been exposed. Ha'aretz reports that Prime Minister Barak has approved the opening of two of these arches, which will become a main entrance to the mosque, and not, as the Waqf had earlier requested, an emergency exit. Despite Public Security Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami's promise, no Israeli representatives - from the police or Antiquities Authority - are supervising the diggings, which have already resulted in tons of dirt and lost ancient artifacts being thrown out in city dumps. The Supreme Court has not yet ruled on a petition submitted on the matter by the Temple Mount Faithful

Gershon and his Temple Mount Faithful have stepped into that role, along with other groups such as the Temple Institute in Jerusalem. The fulfillment of biblical prophecy marches onward, moving inexorably toward the Second Coming of the Messiah, both because of and in spite of the views and attitudes of the Israelis and the other peoples of the world.

With Rabbi Kook the Younger's death in 1982, the leadership of Gush Emunim and the Temple Mount Faithful has been picked up by a group of even more violent and radical protégés, including Rabbi Moshe Levinger and Rabbi Eleazer Waldman. Waldman has asserted that Kook demanded a holy war, as the only means of achieving the coming of the Messiah. "On the one hand," Waldman wrote, "war is accompanied by destruction and death, on the other hand, it increases the power of the Messiah. Unfortunately, it is still impossible to achieve the completion of Redemption by any means other than war."
