Temple Mount: Buildings
built 615 days ago
Along with Jerusalem, the Temple Mount was a focal point for Jews scattered in the Diaspora for over 2000 years. The site was held in constant prayer; the appeals of millions of Jews down the ages to return to and see the temple rebuilt upon it ascending daily to the heavens.
Now that access to the Temple Mount has been permitted for religious purposes, many services long suspended since the Temple's destruction may be re-instituted. Such actions, it has been argued, would further demand a rebuilt Temple to complete and focus these acts of devotion.

The water from the holy rock of the Temple Mount brings a testimony from G-d about G-d's redemption of His people, the rebuilding of the Temple, and the coming of Mashiach ben David. These are great days, yet very critical times. Everyone who loves the G-d of Israel, trusting and worshiping Him, should be strong and should walk with him, trusting openly in Him. If they do so, they will have the privilege of seeing the accomplishment of the redemption of Israel and all the world.
Even more relevant to the present onrush of a religious war over the Temple Mount, Rabbi Kook the Elder founded Merkaz HaRav (the "Rabbi's Center") in Jerusalem, as a training academy for young religious zealots. When he died, his son, Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook, inherited the entire apparatus, including the infrastructure of training academies, which had spawned out of the original Merkaz HaRav yeshiva.

A first stage in the liberation of the Temple Mount seems to have been taken. Will it in fact lead to other stages that will in turn conclude with the rebuilding of the Temple? These are exciting times in which to live, and perhaps witness the occurrences that will climax in this momentous event.

The ongoing construction work taking place atop the Temple Mount. Though some Christians believe that the temple will be reconstructed before, or concurrent with, the Second Coming of Christ, the Temple Mount is largely unimportant to the beliefs and worship of most Christians. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth." Thus, the Christian concept of worship is entirely spiritual, and not based on any particular physical location, specifically including the Temple Mount.
