These templates are scope limited to business- and operations-oriented database application development. When you limit the scope, you can make assumptions about the document (and the project) based on previous experience with similar projects. This approach results in comprehensive, robust documents that work with and support each other.

When you select New under the File menu, you are shown templates from which you can choose. There are ... Tabs of more available selections. (And if there isn't room for all of the tabs, there will be one that simply says "More" and gives you access to the others.) When you pick a template and create a new document based on that template, the template remains "attached" to the document.
